Who we are
Christian Leadership Academy Yaounde that stands for the Acronym CLAY is a higher education institution or university that comprises two sections of education. These include, the secular section which is for purely academic and professional tannings and the theological section that is concerned with Christian ministry and leadership trainings.
CLAY is a lay private institution with humanitarian perspective to transform lives and society through human capital investment. CLAY uses education to build leaders that will subsequently develop their communities.
Christian Leadership Academy is located in Yaounde the Capital
of the Republic of Cameroon in Central Africa.
The Deans Welcome
In my capacity as the Dean of Studies and Director of Academic affairs; and in the name of Christian Leadership Academy Yaoundé- (CLAY ) I would like to extend our warmest welcome to all the new students to our Institution, where your journey in the quest for higher knowledge and employability skills and moral values shall now begin. As mature students, you will be expected to perform the duties of a responsible scholar under the tutelage of this Institutions’ well-trained academic staffs and also the assistance of our supporting staffs. While we strive to provide you with the best supervision, guidance and support, you need to engage yourself in the academic pursuit with rigor, passion and determination, for success is only reaped by those who diligently sow their seeds and nurture their work.
A qualified graduate should be able to demonstrate mastery of knowledge, synthesize and contribute to the existing body of knowledge. Practical skills gained in your study should be applied in your respective fields with creativity and innovation. Awareness of societal needs in formulating effective solutions to problems in various disciplines and attaining leadership skills are within the expectations of a Christian Leadership Academy Yaounde graduate. The scholar’s spirit should never leave the student upon graduation, driving him or her to acquire knowledge with a lifelong learning approach, even when they are no longer under the watchful eyes of a supervisor.
