OUR HUMANITARIAN SERVICES
Inspiration Behind the Christian Leadership Academy Yaoundé
The Christian Leadership Academy Yaoundé (CLAY) was founded by Bishop Angela Acha-Morfaw,
who serves as the president of its administrative council. Driven by a God-inspired vision, she is dedicated
to helping low-income women and children overcome challenges and reach their potential.

Humanitarian Initiatives
Bishop Angela has been actively engaged in humanitarian services for over 20 years, focusing on:
-
Food Distribution: Each December, Bishop Angela provides food items to the needy, ensuring they can celebrate Christmas and New Year alongside the community.
-
Access to Potable Water: Recognizing that many low-income individuals lacked access to clean water, funds were raised to construct a borehole, providing potable water for all community members.
-
Educational Support: For two decades, the Bishop has supplied basic school materials to low-income children every August, encouraging them to excel academically and break the cycle of poverty.
-
Scholarships: At the end of each school year, high-achieving students are awarded scholarships based on their performance. Additional scholarships are given to students in need, including those affected by crises. Many beneficiaries have gone on to earn degrees and secure employment.
CLAY embodies the spirit of compassion and empowerment, aiming to unlock the potential of individuals for the benefit of their families and communities, as reflected in our motto: "Equipping Servant Leaders, Building Communities." We are not just an academic institution; we are a foundation committed to skill development and community building.
Support Us
Sponsor a Child and Make a Difference
Many talented children in our community face educational barriers due to financial constraints. CLAY invites donors and partners to sponsor students, ensuring they receive the support needed to succeed. We manage resources effectively to help these students achieve their dreams.
You can sponsor one child, multiple students, or as many as you feel called to support.
